Job Description

Conduct inspections and testing of materials, equipment, and workmanship to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures.
Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to identify quality requirements.
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
Prepare quality control reports and maintain proper documentation.
Monitor corrective actions and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Provide training and guidance to site personnel on quality standards.
Assist in supplier evaluation and approval processes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in quality control within the construction or engineering sector.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, testing methods, and quality standards.
Familiarity with ISO quality management systems is an advantage.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work on-site under challenging conditions and travel within the province.
Fluency in Dari and/or Pashto and English (spoken and written).
