Job Description
The civil engineer conceive, design, build, supervise, operate, construct and maintain infrastructure projects and systems, including roads, buildings, and Site constructions
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Site Construction & Supervision
Oversea civil works for telecom site construction, including tower foundations, shelter installation, equipment plinths, fencing, and access roads.
Ensure quality control, safety standards, and adherence to project timelines.
Conduct site inspections and resolve on-site construction issues.
Design & Drafting
Prepare AutoCAD drawings, for site layouts, structural design, tower foundation, and related civil works.
Modify and update technical drawings based on project requirements.
Provide engineering input for structural stability and design optimization.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain complete records of construction activities, progress reports, and quality checklist.
Prepare BOQs (Bill of quantities), cost estimates, and material requirement sheets.
Ensure all projects documentation complies with client and regulatory standards.
Coordination & Communication
Liaise with internal teams, (Electrical, Mechanical, and telecom Engineers) for integrated project delivery.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and clients, to ensure smooth execution of site works.
Support project close-out with final documentation and handover reports.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
Proven Experience (5-7 years minimum) in telecom site construction or infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design/drafting software.
Strong knowledge of civil works, structural design, and construction standards.
Excellent documentation, reporting, and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple sites/projects simultaneously.
Good communication, team collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with telecom industry standards and HSE practices.
Knowledge of project management tools is an added advantage.
Willingness to travel to remote telecom sites.
