Job Description
The pharmacist is responsible for arranging, keeping, and distributing medicine and other medical equipment under the close supervision of the Supervisor and giving a report of medicine consumption to his/her line supervisor. The pharmacist is responsible for the overall management of related care in a standalone FHH, management. Responsible for providing a full package monthly report to the Supervisor and support:

In consultation with the line manager, the pharmacist is responsible for the management of the medicines for the FHH project, including planning, delivering, supervision, quality control, reporting, and administrative issues. The pharmacist will oversee the use of medicines, controlling, monitoring, and evaluating of FHH project.
The Pharmacist is Responsible for preparing a list of the medicines for FHH and arranging a plan with the procurement department.
Support the procurement team in the development of RFQs and BoQs.
Prepare a medication plan and keep the Medication plan up to date.
Present the report of the used medicines in the FHHs and prepare the plan for management of the medicines in the FHHs.
In consultation with the line manager, responsible for the management of the medicines for the FHH project, includes planning, delivering, supervision, quality control, reporting, and administrative issues.
Oversee the use of medicines, controlling, monitoring, and evaluating the FHH project.
Complying with the hygiene regulation and accident prevention measures.
Observing the data protection regulations.
On-time data collection of medicine.
Support the FHHs and arrange medicine in the pharmacy stock and keep medicine at a suitable temperature.
Keeping of stock in and stock out documents.
Registering finance-related documents.
Supervision and monitoring of the medicine that is used in the FHH.
Proper storage of medicine and attention to the expiry date of the medicine.
Medicines which expiry date is 6 months remaining should be separately reported.
Observing hygiene.
Monthly and quarterly reporting of Pharmacy stock to the line manager.
Willingness for capacity building according to the rules’ regulations.
Need assessment of medicines and preparation of proper demand
Develop annual and quarterly work plans and budgets in coordination with FHH project lead staff.
Conduct regular performance appraisals and identify training needs
Any other tasks assigned by the project manager.
Requirements
Minimum Specialized Qualification:
At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent from recognized institutions.
Prior experience working with organizations and FHH projects, as well as enough experience in the field of stock management and FHH pharmacies, and contracts management with suppliers.
Fluency in Pashto and Dari, with strong communication skills and fluency in the English language required
At least 5 years of work experience within UN agencies, INNOs, and local NGOs or other relevant organizations on health projects, especially in the FHH project, medicines management.
Able to manage and plan the work effectively and meet deadlines
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and preferably data management/reporting tools.
Willingness and ability to travel to provinces/field sites when required.
